What is the difference between Open Gym + Coaching and Personal Training?

With Personal Training, you train one-on-one with a coach during every session. With Open Gym + Coaching, you train independently using your personal program and meet with a coach every 4 weeks to review progress, update your training and improve technique.

Is Open Gym + Coaching suitable for beginners?

Yes, as long as you want structure and are comfortable training independently between coaching moments. If you need more hands-on support in every session, Personal Training may be a better fit.

How often do I meet with a coach?

You have a coaching session every 4 weeks. During that session, we review progress, measure development, update your training program and go through technique.

Can I join classes with an Open Gym + Coaching membership?

Yes. Open Gym + Coaching members receive 20% discount on classes such as Strength Club, Cross Training, Hyrox and Olympic Weightlifting.

What are the open gym access hours?

Open Gym + Coaching includes unlimited open gym access every day from 06:00 to 22:30.

Can I switch to Personal Training later?

Yes. Many members start with Open Gym + Coaching and later move to Personal Training when they want more frequent support, more accountability or faster progression.

Is there a minimum commitment?

Yes. We work with a minimum period of 3 months. After that, your membership continues monthly with a 1 calendar month cancellation period.

We choose this structure on purpose. When you start, we don’t give you a generic plan — we build a complete, personalised training program based on your level, goals and lifestyle. This takes time, attention and a significant amount of work upfront.

More importantly, real progress takes consistency. Strength, technique and physical changes don’t happen in a few weeks. The first phase is about building a strong foundation, understanding your body and creating momentum.

By committing to at least 3 months, you give yourself the opportunity to actually see results — and we can deliver the level of coaching, structure and quality that Convoy is known for. Our goal is not just to let you train, but to genuinely help you progress.
